Truly a horror story-I have the identical 1969 T120r US export bike (er not yours).In my mind (and many others)the best Bonnie ever made, certainly the best looking (together with the 61 blue that is).
I have mine double chained,alarmed and guarded by a mad dog.I guess you were lucky in one way to retreive the bike albeit in pieces. Given time alone with the perpetrator I think I would have done the same to him as he did to your bike.
and paint him a crappy colour after.
